Lip Embroidery in Singapore

中文版

Lip embroidery, also called lip blush, adds a soft tint and definition to your lips, so they look fresher without reapplying lip colour all day. At ME Beauty, the shade is chosen to suit your natural lip colour and skin tone.

What lip embroidery can and cannot do

Lip embroidery places cosmetic pigment into the lips to add the look of colour and definition. It can even out pale or uneven lip colour and give a fresher everyday look. It does not add volume like a filler, and it is not the same as the full coverage of a lipstick.

It is a form of cosmetic tattooing, even when described as semi-permanent, so the colour is a longer-term decision.

Choosing your lip colour

Bring photos of lip colours you enjoy wearing. Your natural lip colour and skin undertone affect how a shade heals, so the same pigment can look different on different people. We discuss a realistic healed result with you before choosing the colour. Our guide to choosing a lip embroidery colour explains how to prepare. If your lips are naturally dark or uneven, read lip embroidery for dark lips.

Before and after

What happens at your appointment

  1. ConsultationWe discuss the look you want, your natural lip colour and any history of cold sores or lip treatments.
  2. Colour and shapeThe shade and lip line are agreed with you before treatment begins.
  3. TreatmentThe colour is applied. Comfort varies from person to person, so tell the beautician if you need a pause.
  4. Aftercare and reviewYou receive aftercare guidance, including eating, drinking and lip care during healing, and advice on when to review the healed colour.

Healing: what to expect

Freshly treated lips look brighter and stronger than the final colour. Over the following days the lips may feel dry and flake. Avoid picking at them. As they heal, the colour softens towards the intended tint. The healed colour should be reviewed before deciding on any touch-up. Our lip healing guide explains each stage.

Worsening pain, spreading redness, pus or fever need medical assessment. Swelling of the mouth or throat or difficulty breathing needs emergency help.

How long it lasts

Lip colour fades gradually, and how quickly varies from person to person. There is no fixed refresh schedule, and pigment does not always disappear completely. Ask about touch-ups and maintenance when you book.

Common questions

Why are my lips so bright after lip embroidery?

Freshly treated lips look stronger than the final colour. The colour softens as the lips heal, so the result should be judged after healing.

Does lip embroidery make lips bigger?

No. It adds the look of colour and definition but does not add volume like a filler.

Can lip embroidery work on dark or uneven lips?

Your starting lip colour affects the healed shade, so it is assessed at the consultation. We will explain what result is realistic for your lips.

I get cold sores. Can I do lip embroidery?

Mention any history of cold sores before booking. If you have a medical question, ask your doctor first.

How long does lip embroidery last?

It fades gradually, and how fast varies. There is no fixed refresh schedule, and pigment does not always disappear completely.
